I need to write this down while it's fresh in my head because I'm genuinely unsettled.
I was in the admin panel this morning, going through the old files, trying to understand what's what, and I found a draft post. A post dated NOVEMBER 2025. Just sitting there in the drafts folder, unpublished.
But lads — I haven't logged into this site since 2003.
There's no way I could have written this. No possible way.
The draft is just three words: "The bog remembers."
That's it. That's all there is. No body text, no context, just those three words sitting in a post that doesn't belong to me, in a timeline where nobody's been maintaining this site.
I've been trying to rationalize it. Server glitch? Spam? Some sort of automated post that got stuck in the system? But the dating is EXACT — November 2025. And the text is in my publishing format. It's not some random injection. It looks like it was deliberately written by someone who knows how to use the admin panel.
The only person who knew how to use the admin panel was me.
I mentioned this to Rattlin', and the cat has been ACTING STRANGE since. She's been sitting in front of the computer monitor for hours at a time, just staring at the screen. I've never seen her do that before. She'll jump up on the desk and paw at the keyboard, then jump back down. Pacing around like she's waiting for something.
She's a cat. She can't turn on a computer. Obvious statement, I know.
But something's not right here.
I haven't published the draft. I don't know what it means or where it came from, but I don't want to publish words I don't remember writing. That seems dangerous somehow. Like opening a door I shouldn't open.
I'm probably being mad. The internet's just got me paranoid with all its strangeness.
But I'm leaving the draft where it is for now.
Slan go foill,
