TWENTY-THREE YEARS, folks. I said it in 2003 and it's NOW 2026. I'm not going to make excuses — well, actually, I am, because I had no idea how to run an actual business and I spent most of the intervening years assuming nobody would ever want Rattlin' Bog merchandise anyway.
WRONG.
So I've finally gotten my act together. We're doing this:
"I Survived the Flea Verse" t-shirts — Black, white, and a lovely bog green. The flea verse logo on the chest. I promised this in 2003 and by God, it's happening.
"BogLord2002 Approved" mugs — For your morning tea or coffee. Nice ceramic. Dishwasher safe. The text wraps around. I've already tested it. Works grand.
Embroidered patches — For jackets, bags, whatever you want. Little bog design. Very subtle. Very tasteful.
Hoodies — For the Irish weather. Because let's be honest, you need a hoodie when you're standing in a bog contemplating the infinite verses of a folk song.
Everything is being produced by a small print shop in Galway run by a lad named Padraig who actually CARES about the song. Not some massive corporation trying to capitalize — just actual people who think this is worth doing.
The merch store goes live April 15th. I'm terrified and thrilled in equal measure.
