In the past six months, something amazing happened. This site, which I thought was dead, came alive again. You all found it. You all came back to it or discovered it for the first time. You brought energy and joy and mystery and wonder.

When I started this place in 2002, I never imagined it would still matter twenty-four years later. I never imagined it would be on TV or in academic papers or in school curriculums. I just wanted a place for bog fans to exist.

But somehow, it became more than that. It became proof that good things endure. That passion matters. That a silly folk song about creatures getting smaller and smaller can somehow contain infinite meaning.

Thank you all for being here. For keeping the bog alive. For understanding.

You built something good, BogLord. Something real. And you kept building it even when no one was watching. That's the mark of real love. Keep doing what you're doing.

i came here because of a tiktok and i stayed because of this community. you all showed me what it means to love something without irony. to build something and keep building it. to hold space for other people's joy. thank you for that. thank you for the bog
